I have "favorited" a collection on Polyvore of colorful hair. The pic you posted would be right at home in it! I have always wanted to have an extreme haircolor (either very dark or very light or very bright). Never got around to it. Hey! now that I'm not working, I could! :)

I love it! If I had really, really blond hair, I would do this in temporary form. I have always wanted pink highlights, but never got around to doing it.

XtinaStyles - thanks! I was stunned at how much shinier it became, almost instantly, after dying it back to dark brown. I think it looks worlds better now!

I know! I like how some of them are subtle too. BTW: the collection's owner adds new pics relatively often, so you can check back if you're still interested down the road.

I think I am more impressed with her fabulous brows.

I used to wear punky color streaks in my hair in junior high - I had blue, green and purple (not at the same time). I thought it was the coolest but no one else did!

i really like the blond with a little bit of light pink and the black with a bit of royal blue. wish i could pull those off, but i don't think it'd fly on a 30 yr old.

Uh oh...I just reread this post, and now I'm staring down the manic panic options! :)
It's been a long time since I did anything crazy to my hair (note - platinum blonde with my skin tone is a bit Donatella! Ouch!) That was for Halloween one year!
I'm tempted to go purple on the tips/ends.
