Augh!!!  What is her malfunction?  She needs a new publicist/advisor pronto?  She's already so overexposed that everyone is sick and tired of her...and now she feels the need to 'shock' us in a swimsuit.

Here's the part that really got to me though. ""I wasn't going to let a little thing like a hurricane keep me from wearing my bathing suit."   What???  Hello Ms. Nasty...for the rest of the country, this was a scary, tragic event...and here you are not only laughing about, but trying to bring the focus back on  you?   People died!  Get over yourself!  This on top of the "I'll have your baby" shirt fiasco just proves how dim of a bulb she really is.

Man, I am pissed!!!

I really can't stand her and also don't get what the big fuss is all about with her. She is pretty, but not the best looking celeb or best actress out there BY FAR!! I would love to see her try to carry a movie and totally fail!!! I heard that she can't stop saying how much she loves dildo's during interviews and people are complaining. OK, we get it, you are like so sexy and love sex and dildo's. First of all, it makes her sound as desperate for attention as Melinda from the real world. When you don't leave any mystery at all about your sex life, people get tired of it. You don't have to pt it out there like "listen to me and how sexy I am because I masturbate" It's actually kind of sad. I can't say I am over her because I never liked her in the first place. And making fun of the Hurricane in that rediculous outfit just pushed me over the edge.

I don't like her much either, but what is it she exactly did with the hurricane? I don't know the story.

Ugh! What an ignorant skank! I hate all of the comparisons between her and Jennifer Aniston as TV's reigning queens. Seriously, if I were Jen, I would be insulted.  There is just no comparison. Jen is a class-act and wears her swimsuit at the beach, not to an awards show.  Eva needs to go away.

If you look up at my first posting, I quoted what she said during the VMA's.  I just find it sickening that she would disregard the fact that a:people were dying or getting injured, b:people were losing homes, cars, etc...

So for her to take that as an opportunity to try to show herself off?  UGH!

I kinda ranted on her in the VMA post too.  I can't stand her.  I don't think she's very talented or very pretty and I can't stand how the magazines and shows like Access Hollywood pander to the idea that she's this hot, talented, great person.  Ugh!  She just seems so average and mousy to me.

I'm not a huge fan of that quote or her for that matter- but I don't really care that she wore a swimsuit.  If it was the Oscars maybe, but it was  the VMAs and Britney almost took off all her clothes that one year, and lots of stars show up near naked to this thing.  It's hard to know with celebrities what they are actually like, I don't usually regard them as role models even if they seem to be decent people.  With so many rumors about everyone (Jens a cokehead!  So is Jessica S!  So is everyone! ), its hard to really think any of these stars are very admirable.

this proves my inner geek, but i was online while the vma's were on and they were like, go to mtv.com and vote for the best dressed woman...i did.

i usually don't do those things, but when i saw that she was up for the running, i purposely voted so she wouldn't win.  i can't stand her either.  she would probably donate the money to the eva longoria foundation (aka. shopping on robertson blvd.).

i agree.  i caught that comment too.  an event when people are dying and a life that they built is being destroyed by a hurricane is not a situation that you should make light of by prancing around in your swimsuit.

I wouldn't call many celebs admirable, but certain ones project a classier image than others.  As far as the Eva/Jen comparisons (which have been flying around since DH began and Friends ended), I think that it's safe to say that Jennifer has handled herself much better in the spotlight than Eva and her public, trashy ways.  Whether or not she's a cokehead isn't relevant to this particular point.  I'm simply talking about the public images that have been portrayed.

That comment wasn't directed at knocking Jennifer Anniston.  I think she handles herself well too and I actually haven't heard of any Jen/Eva comparisons, mainly because I don't read anything about Eva because I'm simply not interested.  I just think there is so much dirt people hear on everybody, both actors we respect and those that we don't, it is hard to ever get an accurate image.  It's almost like I never hear anything good about celebrities anymore.

Oh, I didn't really think you were knocking Jennifer Aniston, but I was just trying to clarify my earlier point.

Okay ladies please don't hurt me here...

First off, if I looked like that in a swimsuit I might want to wear one on stage at the VMAs too.  That one is actually pretty cute and tastful compared to a lot of swimsuits that people wear these days.  That being said I think it was more of a costume than an outfit choice.  She didn't wear it anywhere, but on stage.

Secondly, the people on these things DO NOT write their own lines.  They are written for them, they read them from a tele-prompter during rehearsal and on the show and then they are paid for appearing.

I don't really have an opinion about the woman either way, but to me the swimsuit and the lines are just part of the performance.  If you are going to get annoyed with someone try getting annoyed with this piece of trash...what in the hell was she thinking?  There were kids watching!

Yes Farrah!!! Although I do think the Eva thing was a bit much, please see my post in more VMA's about this woman, if you even dare to call her that. She is trash!!! I just can't even believe what some women can get away with or do these days. It's just sick! If Ice T came with his penis showing he would be arrested!!! Where is the limit or decency? I really hope all this trash stuff goes away by the time I have a daughter!!!!! So sad.

Umm...I really think she needs to start dressing more age appropriate.  She could take some clues from Catherine Zeta Jones and Gwyneth Paltrow.

She's hugely overexposed, but her 15 mins will be up soon, so I am just waiting it out. I don't see the big deal about her, but I do think she gets a lot of press because she's just out there having fun with her 15 minutes while she can. It'll pass.
