Tiffany Blue accessories question

So I will be getting married very soon (this December) and a big part of my wedding is tiffany blue. The cake will have the blue color accents, and he will be wearing a tiffany blue shirt, but I still don't know how I am going to incorporate the color for myself. My shoes are white and silver with feathers, the dress is all white, the flower in my hair is white, my bouquet will be blush pink and cream....so where should I wear my tiffany blue accent? Thanks!

Do you have your jewelry picked out yet (if you're wearing any)? Are you going to do a garter toss?

Or you could always...

What about a Tiffany blue ribbon tied around your bouquet?

greendiamond - ditto - I was thinking a tiffany blue (persian turquoise) ribbon on the bouquet would look beautiful.

CONGRATS!!! How exciting! Can you find earrings with tiffany blue color? (topaz/turqoise/aquamarine)? If you know personally a jeweler - he can give you earrings for 1 night only, you sign for them & return after the wedding. Can be a blue stone with diamonds/pearls accents...(something luxury):)))
Please post pics fo yourself later!

Congrats! I agree with above - the ribbon sounds like the perfect touch, and something everyone will see. Blue earrings can also be really pretty, especially if you have blue eyes, they will photograph well. There are a lot of sites that let you borrow jewelry, bagborroworsteal has some Vera Wang and Tiffany and adorn.com seems to specialize in wedding jewelry. Some pics for inspiration:

You could also buy a Tiffany blue colored hanky to dab your eyes with when someone inevitably gives a tear inducing toast. Not exactly something that will be out and about for all to see, but will be very well coordinated when the time comes.

Count me in as somebody who was thinking of using the color as a ribbon for the bouquet. It will show up in all the photos and echo your husband's shirt nicely. I like the idea of the earrings, but they won't show up in most of the photos (I don't know how important that is to you.)

If you're planning on changing shoes at the reception, maybe you could find flats in that shade of blue?

How about dying the crinolin under your gown?

If that seemed too extreme, you could add some ribbon towards the bottom so it showed as you twirl around the dance floor.

Kelly - I about lost my mind when I jumped down to this pic after reading fairywings request.  Hilarious!

fairywings - I can't think of anything else besides what the others have already suggested--especially the handkerchief.  If you want more ideas for things only you know about, there's always the lingerie.

ETA:  You already have your shoes, but wouldn't it be great if there was a way to make the soles Tiffany blue, a la Christian Louboutin shoes?

I found a link about this topic.

- Apparently, CL did make some TB-soled shoes in the past but discontinued because of trademark issues (imagine that!).

I'm still with the earrings, I think it can be a delicate luxury touch. I think if your groom is wearing Tiffany blue shirt - that's a big color statement. YOu don't want to look like two dolls on your wedding pictures. So, I think that for your ensemble that is complicated enough ( the elaborate dress/shoes/hair piece, jewelry) - just a touch of theme color is enough, don't over do it.
I loved the idea of dying soles of the shoes in Tiffany blue! That's cool! Ask any shoe repairer ( in any dry clean location) how to dip it in color - cool idea! Probably needs to be resin based color...craft store? maybe you can spray yourself ( after covering the upside TIGHTLY with muskin tape, so that not a drop would spoil the shoes)

Here's a blogger who DIYed some shoe soles, if you are interested in doing that.

I'm a usualloy a huge fan of those suprising touches & of bright color accents! But in this pic, I love the dress & I love how the crinolin came out, but I don't think they work together. Unless it's an unfortunate ligting on the pic that affected the true colors....

A friend of mine dyed her crinoline black and it was really cool. However I don't think blue would have the same effect.

I agree with Yana about not looking like matching dolls. YOU don't need to fit into the theme. That's what centerpieces and table linens and bridesmaids are for.

Xtina- I love that photo! The shot of blue underneath is just fun and personal (just what a wedding should be, right?) Your friend and her husband look so joyful.
