I know this has been done before, but we have so many new people that it's worth doing again. I'll go first.
1. What is/are your favorite department store(s)?
Nordies and Bloomies. I also like Fred Segal in LA and I guess Target would fall under this question.
2. What is/are your favorite mall chain store(s)?
I love the inexpensive, trendy chains: Rampage, Charlotte-Russe, Wet Seal, Forever21, H&M. The way I see it, if I'm going to spend alot on clothes, I'm not going to do it at a chain. I'll go to a department store or a boutique.
3. What is/are your favorite boutique(s)?
I love South Moon Under, Blink and Skirt
4. What is/are your favorite shopping website(s)?
For cheap, trendy jewelry, I love alltherageonline.com. For other stuff, I love pinkmascara, ravinstyle and girlshop.
5. Who is/are your favorite high-end designer(s)?
Matthew Williamson and Chloe
6. Who is/are your favorite lower-to-mid range designers(s)?
Tracy Reese, Rebecca Taylor, Nanette Lepore, Walter
7. If you could shop in only 1 (okay maybe 2) stores for the rest of your life, what would they be?
If I lived in LA, I would have to go with Fred Segal. Otherwise, it would probably be Nordies or Bloomies and Target (I couldn't live without Target!!)
8. Who/What inspires your style?
I'm very inspired by the beach. I think that no matter what I wear, it tends to have a little bit of a beachy-vibe to it. As far as color combos, I'm inspired my so many things: paintings, icecream, candy, the beach (of course!), nature, runway shows, stores, celebs.
9. Who is your style icon?
I really do love Jessica Simpson. She is so girly and I love it! I also like Cameron Diaz b/c she's funky. I admire Jen Aniston's classic style, but it's not my style at all.
10. Describe your style.
Definitely girly, a bit eclectic and funky. Inspired by a laid-back beach lifestyle. I so belong in LA!
A'Gaci Too, Melrose, Forever 21, Rave. Cheap but CUTE clothes; I usually work them into my daily work wardrobe also......LOL
3. What is/are your favorite boutique(s)?
N/A
4. What is/are your favorite shopping website(s)?
LOL - HSN, QVC (for jewelry & house stuff). For clothes - Newport News, Lerners, La Redoute, sometimes Chadwicks (for shoes), F21, JCP, Zappos, Target, Bandolino, ShopAtHomeTV, Rack Room Shoes, Kohl's, Wal-Mart, Payless.......
5. Who is/are your favorite high-end designer(s)?
Don't really have one.
6. Who is/are your favorite lower-to-mid range designers(s)?
Tracy Reese
7. If you could shop in only 1 (okay maybe 2) stores for the rest of your life, what would they be?
Even tho' Austin doesn't have one, I'll have to say H&M - they have such CUTE things!!! And maybe Ross, I'm in that store ALLLLLL the time!
8. Who/What inspires your style?
Well, my brother's 1st ex-wife inspired me to dress better, back when we were in high school, quite a while ago for me! LOL And you ladies inspire me also, and all the magazines I receive/pick up every dang month. LOL And my friends......
9. Who is your style icon?
???? Need to think about this one. LOL
10. Describe your style.
I'm such a GIRLY GIRL, no denying it. I add a lil' funkiness (out of the ordinary) to my vibe every now and again, but I'm all woman.

Banana Republic, J. Crew, Anthro
3. What is/are your favorite boutique(s)?

RavinStyle, Active Endeavors, GoClothing, SunWalters!
5. Who is/are your favorite high-end designer(s)?
There are so many cool designers out there with so much to offer, but the ones that I can picture incorporating into my own closet are Carolina Herrerra, Calvin Klein, Diane von Furstenburg, Vera Wang, Donna Karan, Chanel, and Marc Jacobs.
6. Who is/are your favorite lower-to-mid range designers(s)?
Mint, Nanette Lepore, and Catherine Malandrino always have cute things, but I don't really stick to one line.
7. If you could shop in only 1 (okay maybe 2) stores for the rest of your life, what would they be?
Nordies and BR
8. Who/What inspires your style?
Magazines and ST mainly. There's not too much in the way of style inspiration in Raleigh, so I have to take what I can get from the outside world!
9. Who is your style icon?
Catherine Zeta-Jones, Kate Moss, Gwyneth Paltrow, and I think Mandy Moore has great, age-appropriate style and without being trendy.
10. Describe your style.
Classic and casual. I'm not a fussy person by nature and don't wear clothes that are fussy either. I'm a born and raised Californian, so I tend to by more at ease when I'm casual. I don't do trends either.
Chloe, Calvin Klein, Prada, and lately Balenciaga.
6. Who is/are your favorite lower-to-mid range designers(s)?
Louis Verdad, Michelle Mason, BCBG (does that count?)
7. If you could shop in only 1 (okay maybe 2) stores for the rest of your life, what would they be?
I'm assuming I have to keep my same budget? Then Express, since I get so much work stuff there, and Target (good call, NylaBelle).
8. Who/What inspires your style?
Other members here, of course! I'm with NCShopper -- the people here are not very stylish. Even the ones with money think that money=logos. Also my little sister (Cali) who has an amazing sense for clothes.

2. What is/are your favorite mall chain store(s)? Express, NY& Co, Anthropologie, Banana Republic
3. What is/are your favorite boutique(s)? N/A
4. What is/are your favorite shopping website(s)? Old Navy, Nordstrom.com, Zappos, Shoes.com, BananaRepublic.com
5. Who is/are your favorite high-end designer(s)? Marc Jacobs (the shoes)--I don't have any but I like looking at them
6. Who is/are your favorite lower-to-mid range designers(s)? Nanette Lepore--I don't have any of her items, but it is a goal of mine to get one of her pretty jackets.
7. If you could shop in only 1 (okay maybe 2) stores for the rest of your life, what would they be? Anthropologie, Nordstrom
8. Who/What inspires your style? pics in magazines, other stylethreaders
my favs change so much (i'm sure it's changed since the last time i did this) right now i'm loving barney's. they have great stuff and you can find really nice upscale brands in the regular store and cool funky stuff in the co-op
2. What is/are your favorite mall chain store(s)?
f21 -- is that a surprise. like halleybird, i've gotten a lot of stuff from there and have never really had quality issues
3. What is/are your favorite boutique(s)?
so many -- for midrange stuff atrium in nyc, barney's co-op (imo this counts b/c they had stand alone stores -- though they're more of a chainlet), work in progress, find outlet, intermix (also a chainlet)
for cheaper disposable clothes -- amsterdamn boutique, know style, and necessary clothing. these are boutiques in the classic sense, but they're specific to my area and i like them.
4. What is/are your favorite shopping website(s)?
girlshop for new stuff, factory people for cool stuff, shopbop for overall selection, and revolve clothing for service
5. Who is/are your favorite high-end designer(s)?
again this changes a lot. i'm realizing that i'm not in love with a lot of the established high end designers. while they do make great clothes, my taste definitely skews towards less established brands, and that's most often what i find myself coveting.
6. Who is/are your favorite lower-to-mid range designers(s)?
development, philip lim 3.1 -- kind of an offshoot of development b/c he used to (maybe still does) design for them and 3.1 is his new line. also some other people who i can't quite reveal write now b/c i'm writing an article about them. (plug!) but you'll soon see.
7. If you could shop in only 1 (okay maybe 2) stores for the rest of your life, what would they be?
barney's and henri bendel.
8. Who/What inspires your style?
lots of different people. i get lots of inspiration from people i see on the streets b/c i know their style is more organic than a lot of celebs you see in magazines. but i'm pretty open, if i see something i like i'll try it.
9. Who is your style icon?
of late i've been really like kirsten dunst -- i think i just like the way she puts things together in an off-kilter way that's her own. i also like gwenyth paltrow b/c her style is very clean (in terms of lines, etc. not a lot of excess) but it's still interesting.
10. Describe your style.
urban. in the past couple of months i've been realizing that i'm not really a fan of a lot of bells and whistles on clothes. if given a choice b/t a solid shirt with an interesting cut, and a patterned shirt, i will almost always choose the solid shirt b/c that's what i'm drawn to more. to a certain extent i like ruffles, embellishments, etc. but it can feel like it can be too much sometimes. (especially after this summer.) most of my clothing is stuff with clean lines, that can be easily mixed, matched, or layered. it also makes a good backdrop for accessories, which i love.
I don't really shop at department stores, unless Nordstrom Rack counts - but I go there only rarely.
2. What is/are your favorite mall chain store(s)?
Urban Outfitters - I like going there for ideas, and I sometimes buy stuff on sale there. I love Anthropologie, but I've never bought anything at an actual Anthropologie store (too expensive).
3. What is/are your favorite boutique(s)?
Hmmm.... I don't shop at boutiques either... I get most of my clothing from vintage and second-hand stores. In Berkeley where I live, I frequent Crossroads Trading, Buffalo Exchange, and Jeremy's (Jcrew and Anthro outlet). I have a good eye and so often find amazing boutique pieces at those places, and I don't mind them being gently used. If I had plenty of money I would still shop at these stores - I love how huge and unpredictable the selection is. If I ever move away from the Bay Area I will have to change my shopping style completely.
4. What is/are your favorite shopping website(s)?
ebay! I also like activeendeavors, ravinstyle, and testimoboutique, but more for ideas than for actual purchases.
5. Who is/are your favorite high-end designer(s)?
Chanel and Missoni.
6. Who is/are your favorite lower-to-mid range designers(s)?
I love indie designers. I especially like finding indie designers when I go to Central Europe and Israel - the prices are more affordable there. In addition, I love Lauren Merkin, Beth Bowley, and Tocca.
7. If you could shop in only 1 (okay maybe 2) stores for the rest of your life, what would they be?
Definitely Crossroads and Buffalo Exchange. My shopping style would change very little.
8. Who/What inspires your style?
ST'ers, people I see on the street, online catalogues, Stylediary, things I read, nature, and art.
Neiman's when I'm out of town and Dillards in town.
2. What is/are your favorite mall chain store(s)?
I guess Dillards would fall under this, too. I also love Old Navy and all the cheapy trendy stores. Oh, and Catos.
3. What is/are your favorite boutique(s)?
The Boutique. (I know, original, right?)
4. What is/are your favorite shopping website(s)?
Eluxury, Girlshop, and the Bay.
5. Who is/are your favorite high-end designer(s)?
Right now I'm obsessed with all things Lanvin and Pucci.
6. Who is/are your favorite lower-to-mid range designers(s)?
Nanette Lepore, DVF
7. If you could shop in only 1 (okay maybe 2) stores for the rest of your life, what would they be?
Target, for sure!
8. Who/What inspires your style?
Fashion mags, STers
9. Who is your style icon?
Charlotte on Sex and the City.
10. Describe your style.
I'm sort of in the process of changing my style from cheap and fun with a few classic pieces tossed in to classic and elegant with a few fun pieces tossed in. Ha.

3. What is/are your favorite boutique(s)?
I haven't been in many boutiques

5. Who is/are your favorite high-end designer(s)?

I love Ella Moss and BCBG (Like Halleybird said, does that count?)
7. If you could shop in only 1 (okay maybe 2) stores for the rest of your life, what would they be?
AE and Anthropologie... that would be the perfect mix of my style now incorporated with what I want my style to be
8. Who/What inspires your style?
TV, magazines, stylethread, and Sarah Jessica Parker.
9. Who is your style icon?
Rachel Bilson for her causal, laid back style and Jennifer Aniston for her classic style
10. Describe your style.
I'm very casual and simple... a bit preppy I guess. My lifestyle dictates my style; I'm a full-time college student with a part-time job at a coffee shop, so it wouldn't make sense for me to dress all sophistacated and elegant. Once I'm out of school I'll be able to have a style that's more grown up... I can't wait!
