NYC casual clothing stores

Looking for recommendations on stores in manhattan that specialize in selling jeans, casual tees and other basics from brands similar to splendid. I tried scoop NYC but I'm looking for more everyday casual clothes.

Have you tried Uniquelo (in Soho) for basics?  
If you want alot of higher quality basics/labels with a lot of selection,
your bet bet is Bloomindales (just try to go on weekday eves to avoid the crowds) :)
