I have to cut down and get a cheaper shampoo and conditioner for colored hair, I have a Walmart, Walgreens, Cvs and Heb near me. Any recs? I thought about trying ever strong by L'oreal any one tried it? Thanks
I like the John Freida line. Also, I don't know how often you wash your hair but cutting down on that really helped me too - my color fades less and of course I save $$ on shampoo (and water). I shampoo about every 3/4 days now. Even less in the winter.

I tried the everpure and was unimpressed. It was good shampoo at first, but my scalp seems to break out some. I've tried several 'color saving' shampoos/conditioners, and I haven't noticed a difference in my color. Perhaps if I had dark brown or red hair I would notice more, but as a blonde, I don't see a difference.
I use Pssst every other day and it is helping me cut my shampooing down and keeping my hair healthy. Both Walmart and Walgreens carry it so give it a try. I also like the John Frieda color specific line (not the roots awakening stuff)
I use John Frieda too. But honestly, I don't really see a difference in my hair color. The dye job lasts about 5 weeks before my grays start to show regardless.
Thanks ladies, I forgot that I have a bottle of Suave professional for colored hair in my cabniet. Any one tried that? Aurora thanks for the tip on walmart carrying Pssst I will look for it next time I go
