We bought a new house!!!

It happend so fast my head is spinning. We went out with our realtor last night and completely fell in love with this little house. It is gorgeous. We put in an offer and they accepted right away, and we got it for about $8000 less than its value. Built in 1998, it was owned by a very nice lesbian couple who have taken immaculate care of it. It is on a very quiet cul-de-sac, about 2 minutes away from my bf's work.


The yard is gorgeous, with a huge deck, tons of gardens and plants, 2 car garage and ...the best part... a hot tub. 3 bedrooms upstairs, 1 and 1/2 bathrooms, bright open kitchen, fireplace in the livingroom. The basement is undeveloped but very large and has roughed in plumbing so we are going to renovate it before we move in. We are keeping our old house for a rental property so we are in no hurry to get out. We need to paint b/c it is and odd shade of moss green and put in hardwood (my brother installs hardwood flooring for a living, carpet in my family is sacreligious). We take possession Oct 3 (45 days).
