I know it was on Sunday and its wednesday but I thought someone might have brought this up.
A. Hello Nipples! Pam, just because you are a sex symbol does not mean that we want to see them. She should have been a little more conservative seeing as she was being honored.
B. Courtney, Courtney Courtney. Jimmy Kimmel was right, if you aren't on drugs, you have some real problems.
C. It was actually pretty funny, even though everyone talked about the same thing. My favorite presenters were defiantely Bea Arthur and Sara Silverman. Bea read her book in her (unfortunate) man voice. It was hilarious (nevermind the fact that she is old and its just funny when old people talk about sex).
I think her raost happened just at the right time, when she is starting to get washed up. She looked like crap and along with her messed up nipples, I think she is getting too much plastic surgery on her face and she looks really wierd. I think her spotlight is just about out. Goodbye Pam, I won't miss you!!
But I did think the presenters were really funny and the fact that Courtney love has not overdossed yet is BEYOND me!!
I watched a little of it because I like Pam Anderson. I saw one presenter/comedian who was making jokes about the size of her twat, and all the men she has f-ed, then he threw in nasty stuff about Bea Arthur, who was there. I was appalled, I know it's a roast, but this guy was disgusting. I felt sorry for Pam and any woman he made fun of, the guy was crossing the humor line. I don't know his name, he was a familiar comedian, but he went on one so maybe a few right before David Spade.
Anyway, I thought the other roasts were pretty funny. Pam is a good sport.

Oh I thought it was hilarious!!! I laughed so hard the whole time. I loved Bea Arthur and Sara Silverman the best too.
I've never really been a Pam fan but I definitely like her more after seeing the roast. She was such a good sport and while the nipple thing was a bit much, I definitely thought she looked better than she has in recent photos. I dig her.
And Courtney Love! Oh the humanity! If she's sober... well, I don't know what that means about her because she was the most f'ed up celebrity I've seen in a long while. (On tv anyway.)
I loved when Sara Silverman totally bashed Courtney Love. CL was like "I'm sober! I've been sober for a whole year!" (or something like that) and Silverman was like, "yeah, babe, whatever." She rocked.
I thought it was hysterical. I think if you agree to a roast you know what's coming. I did find the fact that all Bea Arthur had to do to roast her was read her book quite sad & telling.
I must admit to not really being a fan, maybe that's why I enjoyed it so much!

My husband tried to tape it but somehow the TiVo didn't pick it up. :(
I am always a little sad about Pammy because my God, she was one of the *most* beautiful women I'd ever seen (remember when she was the Labatt's girl?) and now she's a caricature - and has been for years. It's sad to see that even the prettiest women can be so insecure about this kind of stuff. She was pretty damn perfect-looking before she got *anything* done.
