The only time I was in Vegas we didn't have a chance to go to any of the shows. We are going back in November and I was wondering how people dress to go to for example "O". I have been to other Cirque du Soliel shows here in Texas but people dress more casual here. Need suggestions. Thanks!
At the shows I've been to in Vegas, I saw people dressed super casually (shorts and flips in summer) to almost formally dressed (they looked out of place, though). Personally, I don't dress real casual to shows, but I don't dress up all that much in Vegas either. I'd wear something you'd wear out on a Saturday night date or to a club in Vegas. Pretty much anything goes.
I agree with Cricket. Vegas runs the gammit from very casual to really dressy, depending on where you go. I would go with middle of the road attire and wear a cute top with capris or jeans and a top. Maybe throw a blazer or a cami over it.
i agree. i saw ka when i was there in june (it was fantastic, i recommend it), and just as with the rest of vegas, people were dressed in every way conceivable. i wore my seven hefners with heels, a cami and a black open-knit cardigan-type thing.

I saw Zumanity (a Cirque de Soleil show) when I was there this weekend. It's a little weird, but that's beside the point. Most people dressed up. I wore a dress. I don't remember seeing jeans at all.

Really? That's cool. I prefer to dress up when I get the chance. We missed Zumanity when we were there the last time, even though we stayed in NY, NY. Was it good? Sorry, don't want to hijack the post, but I'm curious.

Nylabelle, I saw this show with my bf and it is weird. There are a lot of topless girls running around and strange looking ppl. Granted Cirque de Soleil is suppose to have weird stuff and ppl going on but this was different then your typical CDS show. It isn't as big of a production as their other shows. The stage is smaller and less ppl are involved. It has more of a play feeling bc of this. Anyway, I'm glad I saw it but probably wouldn't whole heartedly recomend it. O and Mystir (<-- spell) are a lot better IMO.

It was okay. I usually like kind of weird, arty, out there type things, but I wasn't that impressed with this. I was entertained by it, but don't know that I would recommend it over other shows.
