The rumor is around here that its numbers were high the first weekend just to see what Jessica looked like but that the movie had no substance. IMO, it shouldn't have been made.

i refuse to watch this movie. now, i love jessica simpson, but not jessica simpson the actress. watching her try to act in the trailer was enough to make me squirm.....

I saw it this weekend and thought it was cute. It wasn't a lot like the actual show. It was pretty stupid in a fun way. But I thought the show was pretty stupid too.
