makeup/beauty tricks? I love brushing my lashes with my powder brush before applying mascara -it makes my lashes pop out even more and it is also easier to clean up. I also use some of my very sheer lipglosses on my eyelids for just a bit of shine. AND my absolute favorite trick is to soak green tea bags in milk for like 10 minutes then putting them on my face. So soothing and makes my skin look so great. Come on ladies.....post your favorite tricks!!!
Vaseline...I use it as a lip balm/gloss, and it works better than anything else I've ever tried, expensive or cheap. I also use Vaseline on my eyelashes and eyelids sometimes. It makes my eyelashes glisten, and my eyelids get a slight sheen. Plus, it's moisturizing! Oh, and a little pot of Vaseline costs $.99 at Target in the travel section!
I like to spray my face with this Burts Bees misting face stuff after I put on my makeup so it doesn't look so makeup-y (this probably made no sense ).

I put vitamin E oil on my face every few evenings rather than moisturizer, and it makes my skin soo radiant the next morning.
And eating a spoonful of olive oil each day keeps my skin from getting flaky.
Oh, and the MAC double-ended lip glosses are amazing - they stay on literally all day, you can apply them very precisely, and the one I got (berry set) looks like my natural lips only better (which is exactly what I wanted)

I use one of those plastic travel shampoo bottles from Target and put in 3-4 tablets of crushed uncoated aspirin, and then a squirt of aloe vera gel (the pure kind, not the kind with pain reliever). I then fill about half the bottle with witch hazel, and then fill the rest with distilled water, then shake it up. You do have to shake it each time you use it, and I think you have to make it fresh once a week or so, but it doesn't take long, so I don't mind.
Some people use only water (no witch hazel), and others use only witch hazel (no water) but I have combination skin & I feel like I need both. This is the only toner I've used that actually takes off the soap residue/leftover makeup but doesn't dry out my skin.
HTH somebody!
(I have combination skin that tends toward oily in the summer and dry in the winter.)

How often do you use this? Do you use straight HP, or dilute it? Do you spread it all over the area or just on small spots? I've just started trying it, but I'm not sure quite how to do it. Thanks!
Splash- Here's what I do. I use it every few nights, not every night though. I soak a cottonball with the pure HP, from that big brown bottle. I dab it onto where ever I seem to be breaking out (not near your hair or eyes though) and let it really soak in. That's pretty much it. You can dilute it if its too harsh for you or something, but you're reallly not using a lot on the cotton ball to begin with. Hope that helps!
I use Queen Helen's mint julep mask to clear up breakouts. I dab some on the spot and leave it on all night and wash it off in the morning. It dries them out and they go away almost immediately.
I also think Carmex is the best lipgloss ever. Except when I put too much 'cause then it has this funny taste. bleh.
Sometimes I put a dab of light-colored shadow (white or cream-colored) right in the center of my eyelid, above my pupil and it really opens up my eyes. It takes a little finesse and time to blend just perfectly so I don't do it all the time but it's definitely the added touch that makes my eyes go from okay to wow! (at least in my opinion).
I wear my hair up in a bun to give it great body and big, natural waves when I just wash it and don't do anything else to it.
Sometimes, if my eyes are bit tired, I put my eyeliner on the inside of my lower eyelids, just about halfway down. It really gives you a great cat-eye and makes the whites of your eyes look extra white. It's such a little thing but it can make the biggest difference.
My biggest beauty secret is my dermatologist. I dealt with acne since I was like 14 and my skin is beautiful now. I have people actually complimenting me on my skin, which has never happened. My derm is my miracle worker.
Other than that, Nars blush in orgasm is the best beauty product I've tried in a long time. It makes me look awake and happy and healthy. I it!
pout bronzer. nothing makes my skin glow or look better. we bought it it london when we hadn't seen the sun in days, and it worked wonders. even with some color now, i can put it on without any other makeup and not worry about how i look.
