When I check my blog stats, I've always used Google Analytics. But I guess sometime lately blogger has also added a page on stats (or else I've been oblivious all this time). Today I compared them and they are totally different! Most days they're off by like 50 views or so (with the Blogger Stats usually saying I have more then Analytics). That didn't surprise me because I figured they wouldn't be exactly the same. But some are way off - like on one day in July the stats from my Blogger dashboard says my site got 1,200 views (unlikely) and Google Analytics says I got 171.
Does anyone have any idea which one I'm supposed to trust? It's not a huge deal because my blog is just a hobby, but I'm just curious.

I have dealt with similar issues. I would say the google analytics are more accurate as they directly measure and are impartial. Blogger may more loosely measure, and they could be including search impressions with views.

Sorry for the bumping...i also faced the same kinds of problem where blogger's default stats was showing 80-90 visitors per day and analytics was showing only 40-50 visitors per day. but i think blog's default status report is more trusty because it is default application(but still i am not sure..):(
