Vote for Book club Selection

Ok, I am taking it upon myself to do a poll - I agree that we need to be democratic about it and I think we have enough suggestions, more will just confuse us (me)!!!

Let's close voting on Sunday August 7th then we'll decide when we want to start - shortly there after!

Guess what? You cannot vote more than once on a poll...I mean, oh, can't you? Not that I would ever try to "stuff the ballot box" for my selection. Noooooo, not me. Nosiree, not me.

OOOPs, I voted for Vanity Fair but I just remembered I read that already!  Not so interested in rereading that one. . .

Crime and Punishment is kinda a hard read just because of the Russian names and nicknames that are like 18 characters long but it's an awesome book. The idea of it is amazing. Could you kill someone, get away with it and not feel guilty? What if that person was a gross poverty stricken human-maybe you would simply be cleansing the Earth of bad people, doing what is actually a good deed. It's just a real mind twister. I recommend it. I voted for it

I am wondering... I personally have not had the pleasure of reading any of these books... and well if someone could give a short bio on the book (to help classic challenged ones like I).

Is the voting over?? Would you like to announce the official winner, laken1? Now we have to decide on a start date. For me anytime is good. I am on vacation for the next two weeks so I can read any time I want! Yay.
