Having said that, I had GREAT results with the brush from Givenchy Phenomen'eyes but the formula would rub off. but, in finding the image from above, I notice they have a waterproof version now, so it's in my cart!
I have really oily eyelids, so I have a hard time with mascaras. I always have to buy waterproof. And, the first two were the exception, because of the kind of formula they are.
I don't spend mucho dinero on makeup so these are all drugstore-level. I use a few different ones for different purposes. I like(d) Target's Sonia Kashuk for daytime. It's a softer black and not super "glossy."
I also really like Elf's $3 Studio mineral mascara. It's very black and has nothing creepy that you should feel weird about applying so close to your eyes. It is a PITA to remove, though.
I wouldn't let my 14-year-old cousin buy Great Lash. No really. I made her put it back and bought her Lash Blast. Lash Blast is pretty great, I hate to say. Better when it's freshly opened, but aren't they all.
I bought the sephora sampler around Christmas and my favorite so far has been the Buxom lash from bare minerals. I also like the Lancome mascara that has the vibrating brush. Both are great with seperating your lashes and have a great black shade.
I was not a fan of the DuWop mascara in the sephora set nor the stila mascara in the set
Still love this one. To me, it's the everyday workhorse of mascara. It doesn't flake (which is a huge thing with me), and it goes on perfectly. The black is a clear black color, and the thickness is a perfect balance between watery and clumpy.
I heard good things about Boots No.7, so I tried it. I have Maximum Volume right now ($8, Target), and I would buy it again. It is a great everyday, lighter-touch mascara. Not very voluminous, but still good. I really wanted to try Extravagant Lash by Boots, but I grabbed the wrong tube. Cheap so you can try it out without much to lose.

I love this one too - I've tried a bunch of others, but this is still my fav for making your lashes look nice and thick, without being clumpy. I've tried Dior Show too, which is nice and has a nice soft brush, but my lashes always look longest with the Lancome.
