YES!! I wanted to post about it last week and was surprised that no one else did.  I remembered that you followed it but I couldn't remember if there were any other hardcore fans on here.

I haven't really been surprised by the developments from the last 2 episodes and even though I think the past 2 seasons haven't been that great I'm still riveted.

I really want to see how they deal with the non-Nate plotlines in the last few episodes.  I feel like the Ruth, David/Keith and Claire plots that they have right now are sort of underdeveloped (especially Ruth and Claire).

I watch it too and I was stunned last night, just like I was stunned last week too!  I can't believe what happened..though I have to say I had a feeling towards the end of the episode last night that what happened was going to happen.  I don't want to spoil anything, but I want to be able to talk about it!  Should we put a "warning, spoilers" in the title?

No - Not surprised - but at the same time - my jaw was on the floor at the end of the show last night. I can't believe Nate broke it off with Brenda while he is laying in the hospital...it seems like he finally has found something to make him happy - and then he dies?!? Oh the irony.

And what is up with little Mousy Maggie?

Love the guy that Claire is with - what a funny match for her - but it works.

Ruth needs to be attacked by a cougar!

so nate died. i didn't watch last night...it figures that he would die the episode i didn't watch. oh well i'll try & catch a re-run this week. i read b/f that someone was going to die this season, but i didn't think it would be nate. this season has been kind of meh for me. i don't know if they've exhausted all the plot lines or what, but none of the characters have really grown. the episode last week (7/24) really annoyed me, and i was just like i need to take a break.

I wasn't surprised that Nate died, I saw it coming from the minute he collapsed, but like you said JMR - my jaw was on the floor when it happened!  I knew he was going to break it off w/Brenda too - after he had that dream while he was still unconcsious and it showed him breaking up w/her, I knew he would.  And what was up w/Maggie - she just had an affair w/the guy and she stays at the hospital...it was weird.  If I were Brenda, I would have killed her.  And Ruth just drives me nuts - I hate her!!!

I saw it too!! I'm glad you guys are talking about it. I was stunned, but like everyone else- I knew it was coming. It the episode previous to this one when he said "When I die, just bury me under a tree..or something like that, I saw it coming. Plus he was getting all spiritual and stuff, trying to find some sort of peace with life. Still sad though. I feel bad for Claire. She just left, thinking everything was ok, and then he had to go and die.

I couldn't believe how much I was crying!!! I was like "It's just a TV show!" It's a good thing this show only has 2 episodes left. I don't know how much I can take of being depressed by 6ft Under. Seriously, even the next day, I was still thinking about it. (This is why I hate watching depressing movies/shows.)
