My hair is very fine and almost down/baby-like around the crown. Whenever there is an ounce of humidity in the air, certain parts of my bangs curl up into neat little spirals. This isn't as cute as it sounds when you've spent 45 minutes and $20 worth of styliing product to get your bangs to lay just so. I'd tried blow drying, straightening cream, flat iron, weatherproof anti frizz, etc. and my hair always looked FAB until I walked to the train, then I'd always get the stupid curl back.
I had my regular appt for highlights and cut but decided to ask my stylist about whether there was any permanent solution for this. She suggested the Brazillian treatment on my bangs only. We postponed my highlights so I could try it. I have to wait 3 days before shampooing or getting my hair wet. I'm excited for the results! Will keep you guys posted!
OMG, I have curly hair and got this done 2 months ago - BEST.THING.EVER!! You will love it. Not only is my hair gloriously straight, but the keratin makes it so healthy and shiny. I will NEVER go back to curly/frizz-prone hair!
The hardest part was waiting three days to wash it. Did your stylist let you know about using special shampoo?
I got this too! My hair is fine so I got the "baby" treatment, which meant only one day without shampooing and my hairstylist recommended non-sulfite based shapoo to keep it looking good for longer. I still style waves into my hair, but it has cut down on the morning frizz and curls nicely. I'm hooked!
