I so wanted to love it, but I didn't. :( The city only made a brief apperance and Mr. Big was not in it nearly enough. It was not all well written as all of the other SATC stuff has been IMO.
Really?! Well I loved it. Everyone in the movie theatre was laughing out loud a lot, and some even clapped at the end of it. I keep reading bad reviews on it....but I personally loved it. Yes, they weren't in the city long, but from watching the commercials, I expected that.
I liked it - I keep hearing terrible reviews but I think people take the show too seriously. I didn't care that they weren't in the city - people aren't allowed to vacay? I didn't care that they were wallowing in luxury, if I wanted to watch a group of women use coupons at Nine West, I'll go to the mall. I didn't care that the humor wasn't very original - after all, Carrie's puns were always cheesy.
I did however, dislike the wedding scene A LOT. I was about to walk out, it was too kitchy. Carrie's tux and "veil" was barf-inducing. Also most of the story lines were slightly introduced but then never followed through and not realistically like:
