Around 10pm on Tuesday night, fh and i had some couple time together because the hospital didn't have any beds available for me and there were already 4 people waiting in front of me.  Immediately afterwards, I was having contractions like every 5 minutes, but I didn't think anything of it, because that happens everytime!  So, I went to take a shower, and while I was in there, the hospital called to let us know there would be a bed ready for me at 11pm - I said, "Oh good, because I'm in labor already."   We got to the hospital around 11:30-12am, the contractions were every 5 minutes, and I was a good 4 cm dilated.  My BP was through the roof, like some crazy # like 180/110 and they started pitocin/epidural/mag around 3am.  Around 5am, I felt like I had to push, and the nurse told me I was 10cm and we were going to start pushing.  5:52 am, Giselle Maria was born. She was 7lb 11oz 20 inches long. She looks just like my son.

OMG she is so pretty!!! i have to say, I got a little tear in my eye - I'm glad ya'll are doing well. I love to see crying new baby pictures. And all that hair!!! so cute.

And great to hear that everything went smoothly.


PS- I was 7lb 11 oz and 20" too- so those are good numbers
