Sometimes i look at photos people post on-line and wonder who could actually wear that out of the house IRL.   I think I prefer the ones that make me think, "Yeah, I could so pull that off!".

great outfits.

I thought this looked kind of retro/edgy, but on closer inspection of why, I think her hair is a major component.  If someone didnt look like her, and the quality/fit of the items were any different, this could easily look like a dated, cheap, disaster...

D- very true. I initially loved the color of the skirt, but I think it was her hair that made me look 2x at the photo.

I would love to wear any of these! (Except the greenish pencil skirt one. I am not edgy enough to wear that without looking like a grandma!)

ITA.  I think a huge component to pulling off these looks is knowing how to pair something that is otherwise dull or shapeless with edgy accessories to make it modern.  Think of what she'd look like if we swapped those booties for these:

Xtina - that is so so true!  The outfit would look so dowdy and outdated if you switch out those shoes!  And I also think the hair helps!
