San Diego restaurant rec... Rocky?
Permalink Closed

I'm heading off to SD Saturday and am looking for a good seafood restaurant for dinner Saturday night.  Nothing too fancy, as we'll have 2 kids in tow.  I'm thinking less than $50 pp.  It's my BIL's birthday and he is a big seafood fan, especially good clam chowder, so I thought that we'd try and find a nice "family" type place.  Oh-  They'd probably prefer to be near the shore and they're staying at the Hilton Gaslamp if that helps at all.  Can you think of anywhere we might like?

Thanks!

Sorry I just saw thise post. Honestly, I don't eat seafood, but these restaurants are what my co-workers recommended.

There are a bunch of restaurants at Seaport Village, Harbor Island, Shelter Island, and Coronado Island, (all near gaslamp area). They all offer great views. Here is a helpful site

As for specific names

http://www.peohes.com/ (on Coronado Island, came highly recommended)

http://www.boathouserestaurant.com/ (on Harbor Island, my parents like this one)
