I need a good middle of the road straightening iron for my hair. I have the CHI already but I need one to leave in my locker at the gym and don't want to spend another $100 for a second Chi. Any advice on a good middle of the road one?

I swear by my Conair ceramic 1/2 inch flat iron. I've had it for about 2 years and it's still going strong. It's about $20 and it really works and I have curly hair. HTH!
i have a true ceramic Cricket x2 that retails for about $60. i have used a CHI (hated it and it broke in 3 months) and a WIGO (loved it- left it in a hotel room accidentally)... and i am very happy with my Cricket.
I have a Revlon one that was like 20 bucks that works great. I thought it was just because my hair was pretty straight already but my friend has super curly hair and she uses it too with great results.

I have the Hot Tools ceramic one and I think I payed about $35 for it. Works well. My stylist recommended it. She said she thought it was the best of the lower priced models.
I have this one from beauty.com. It runs for $80, which is probably more than you want to pay. However it works really great. I've had it for over a year, and it's still going strong. Plus it has great reviews on the site. I have thick wavy hair, and I've found the cheaper brands don't work on my hair. Hair Straightner
