Console table help

I need your help in finding a new console table. The one I am replacing I bought from Target a few years ago and knew I wouldn't be using it for long. While it still looks good, it is glass but I don't think it is tempered and my friend's little ones like to hold onto it when putting on their shoes and I cringe everytime. It's a little wobble too.

I'd like to replace it with one without glass (fingerprints make it a dusting nightmare). Metal is okay, and I'd prefer a dark stained wood. My taste runs modern. I'm finding ones I like around $600, which is more than I'm looking to spend. Under $400 is more within my range.

I'd also like it to have at least one shelf. Any extra storage is just gravy.

Thanks!

Love the 2nd one D posted. It has an open quality yet still offers lots of storage space.

I like the first one a Susoria's 2nd one. I think it depends on the rest of the room though - to see what works best with your stuff. Also, if you have kids or have them over your house a lot, the metal edged ones can be a little scary for tot's heads.
