so i ate a lot more m&m's than i should have this weekend, but overall i was pretty good!


b: puffed kashi, soy milk


s: celery & pb


l: this premade jenny-o turkey dish, pretty good & pretty healthy, carrots


s: probably m&m's cuz i ran outta yogurt (going grocery shopping tonight!)


d: turkey burger, carrots or broccoli


e: did a TON of stairs yesterday (actual stairs, not in the gym) so i let myself sleep in & skip the AM walk, but i will be taking a 1.5 hr salsa lesson tonight so i'll get some sorta workout

weekends will be the death of me.


B: rice krispy treat (2 points), coffee


L: sanwich (baguette w/chicken, prociutto, onion, olive, and red pepper spread- 6 points), mini rainbow chip cookies (4 points)


D: going to a ballgame, so probably a hot dog and a beer. which fits into my diet perfectly, so long as I can stop at one beer and resist all snacks.


E: I have about an hour to kill between work and the game, so I'll probably walk around a bit.

I can't even remember most of the weekend's consumptions, so you know that can't be good. Not so much on the bad food but the drinks! Ouch. Everytime the boy went to talk to someone new at the wedding, I ventured over to the bar. The barkeep and I made good friends.


B: nutri-grain bar - ah! the sugar


S: nutri-grain bar - ah! the sugar again!


L: 2 tostadas, fresco-style (fancy talk for + pico and - cheese) from Taco Bell (need to go grocery shopping)


D: I think I'm making stir-fry (shrimp & veggies) with jasmine rice. We'll see. I'm supposed to be cooking dinner and that's one of the few things I can actually manage.


E: depends on the dinner thing. my apartment is a wreck so I need to run home and frantically clean it, go to the store, and take a quick shower, all before the boy arrives for dinner (still a maybe). hopefully all the running around at high speed will burn some calories. if the plans fall through, i'm heading to the gym after work. we'll see which one works out.

Afternoon everyone.  I'm trying to get back on track today!


B: 1 cup go lean crunch with 1/2 cup blueberries and 1/2 cup skim milk


S: 1 small pear, 6 wheat thins


L: 1 cucumber with roasted red pepper & parm italian dressing, MSF burger on wheat bread with cheese, ketchup, and lettuce.


D: unsure right now.  I think I'm going to cook a turkey burger helper (hamburger helper minus the beef) and add a veggie with it.

Today I ran 4 miles alt. 4mph walk to a 6-8mph run and a 0-5 incline. I also did 15 minutes elliptical and 5 minutes row machine.  Then I did 150 different crunches.


b-1/2 banana, 1 oatmeal packet


l-Amy's tofu and rice bowl, 1 sugar-free fudgesicle

b:  honey nut oats cereal, orange juice


s:  small package of doritos and a coke (I was STARVING and there was nothing else)


l:  turkey sandwich, yogurt, another coke (oops)


s:  pretzels, crystal lite lemonade


d:  sugar free popsicle, prob. leftover fish and a salad.  no desert tonight!!!


e:  painted the guest bedroom (does that count?  i was sweating and working hard!)

alright, i need to stay motivated. maybe posting will keep me accountable? lets hope!


breakfast: 1 bowl smart start with soy protein, 1% milk


lunch: 1 roma tomato, spinach, and goat cheese with balsamic and olive oil, diet coke with splenda


snack- iced sugar free vanilla latte with skim milk


dinner- 1.5 peanut butter sandwich on wheat bread, banana (too hot to cook), half glass cranberry juice


2 bottles of water


no exercise today, long day of class and doctor's appt.'s:(


 eta- bad ritz! snack- some Tj's lemon something cookies, (120 cals) and a handful of trailmix, at 12 30 am...

Overall, I was okay this past weekend, but I need to be more strict.


B:  Granola and Cofffee


L:  1 tamale


D:  Homemade Chicken Korma, 1 piece of Naan, 1/2 cup of brown rice


W:  1 hour session with trainer
