I rock a cardi often, and every time I put on my one in particular, I tell myself I need to seek your help in finding a replacement, then don't. I am remembering to today!
I have an old, black 3/4 sleeve cardigan from New York and Co. that is probably 7 years old. It seriously needs to be replaced. It is v-neck, and while not cropped like ashrug, it is shorter than most cardigans, which I like. Also, while I have stopped buying synthetic sweaters, I like that I can put it on over something sleeveless and not get fuzzies in my armpit in the summer. But, I would prefer a natural fabric.
Have any of you seen something like this? It seems easy enough, but I can't find the right one.
J. Crew has a 3/4 length cardi that hits at the waist. I wear mine all the time (in fact, I have two!!). They sell it for cheap at the outlet store (if you have one near you...). I just got a new one about a month ago.
Yeah agreed with Boots. Martin + Osa has some cute one, better go and get it now, they are closing their doors soon... and all stuffs are 30% off now I think...
I ended up buying the J Crew Bling Button Cardi. it's 100% cotton, the perfect length, v-neck and 3/4 sleeves. It will replace my existing cardigan beautifully. However, I am not in love with the buttons, so I may swap them. I really want the sweater to be a staple and not a memorable sweater, and I don't know that faceted "crystal" buttons do that.
Thanks for everyone's suggestions. I've never shopped Martin + Osa, and it sounds like if I want to, I better do it soon!
The bulk of my cardi's are J Crew, and I'm wearing this one today and already pledged to buy more of this style before long. I am LOVING it. I don't know why I hesitated so...
