lmao!!! I get stuff like that at my job too or "are you sure you don't have too much to do?" when the one project I had to do all WEEK took my about an hour. Yeah, I'm so overburdened with work...that's why I have nothing to do all day except post on ST.

Hmm...that's really weird. You just have the worst luck with jobs! One of these days you will find your dream job. I feel it coming. Just keep sending out those resumes. You should use your free time at work to send resumes...LOL.

Maybe I am being a little TOO optimistic right now, but could they have meant something else by "if you get lost?" Are the brochures in some weird place? Are they messed up and out of order and kept in 800 different places? Or maybe this person is overeager and was trying to look helpful and like a "team player" and just jumped in on this e-mail because she knew it was an easy project. I just can't believe someone would say such a dumb thing!

Maybe the last person in your position was an idiot. In that case, just keep doing what you are doing and they will see that you are not an idiot and that you are actually overqualified for the job.

We just reorganized the brochures (and I actually helped with it). There is nothing confusing about it. I have no idea what else she would have meant by 'lost.' Oh well, my direct boss is actually really cool and he keeps trying to get more people to give me something to do and he refuses to call me a receptionist. He calls me the Office Manager. He's a cool guy. At least most of the people that work here are nice. I just need to get into a better position.
