I purchased the 1.8 oz smaller size at Sephora and I think my jaw dropped when I learned that it was $14 at the register. What the heck is in this bottle that makes it almost three times more expensive than my usual (already expensive) Bumble and Bumble Thickening Spray???
Anyways I decided to take the plunge due to Sephora's great return policy. I've since used the product a few times with good results. I apply on damp hair then blowdry with a large round brush. In comparison with other thickening treatments, I liked:
the texture - the cream wasnt sticky or stiff like other treatments
the smell - light and citrus-y, not heavy at all
the performance - i did notice an overall fuller look after styling
The product was not a miracle formula like alot of the reviews suggect. The results I got was not neccessarily a more volumnious or thicker head of hair but just a more salon-like blowout. It seemed bouncier and more glamorous. I like the product and will not be returning but I'd recommend buying the small size before shelling out $24 for not even 4 oz. of product.
I think I will buy the full size bottle. For me, it just gives me a better blow out (regardless of volume). I get comments at work like "did you just get a haircut?" "what did you do differently?" Also, I think blowouts last a day or two longer with this stuff.
If you don't mind a newbie chiming in with another review...I have thin hair and was hoping for something special. For me, it gave me more texture/piece-y look. I do like it for that reason but wouldn't say it gave me fullness.
