Did anyone hear about the man referred to as Wild Bill? I just read something about him. He's a 56 year old man that walked across six states, over 2000 miles over the period of 5 months or so. He did it for an old Chicago Cubs player Rob Santo after Santo lost his legs. He was trying to raise $250,000 for child diseases or something to that effect.
He finally arrived at his destination, which was the Cubs homefield in Chicago, on July 1st. The team allowed him to throw the first pitch of the game.
I can't find a link to a story for this, but if anyone has any more info on it, please feel free to add!
