I am going too! My bf has been (his family lives in Peru) so we are going in January. He said its better to take the train b/c the Inca trail is very intense. I don't really know much else about it but I could find out if you have any specific questions.

Nice!! I think we're actually goign to do a trek/camping thing thru the Inca trail and end up in Macchu Picchu. Its supposed to be intense but amazing- kinda scared though!!!
