Face break out the week before and of your period? MAN! It seems to happen to me every month, and it drives me nuts; I tend to get them around my chin, and RIGHT cheek ONLY (how weird is that?). LOL I was just wondering, I'm watching what I eat these days, but I may slip up every now and again to cause a pimple or two (sodas, fried foods) to appear......

This may not be what's happening in your case, but I heard that people often break out where the phone touches their face, or if they rest their face in their hand a lot. Dermatologists recommend that you avoid touching your face too much and to wipe down your phone each day with an antiseptic wipe.....
But I'm sure the timing with your period is not helping matters!

I was going to say the same thing. When I first started working I randomly kept getting pimples on one side of my cheek and I never really had problems with breaking out so I couldn't figure out what was going on. Finally my mother told me that it was probably from using the phone at work. I started wiping down my phone every day and I haven't had the same problem since.
I'm gonna invest in some of those sanitary wipes, I KNOW other people use me phone, so I need to start wiping it off! LOL And I have read that before also, about phones, I just never really paid it any attention..... LOL

always, they don't skip a month. I find that the more aggressive I am, the worse they become. It seems if I don't use too much drying stuff they heal faster, but they are still there for a couple of days. annoying, isn't it
I hate that time of the month for this reason. I tend to get one or two cystic pimples on my chin about 3 or 4 days before my period. They hurt like hell too becasue you can feel them under the skin but they haven't surfaced yet. By the time they pop up I have a huge red bump on my chin that refuses to go away for weeks at a time sometimes. I wash with Philosophy's Purity Made Simple and then use St. Ives apricot scrub with salacylic acid only on my chin. It seems to help.
Wow rosie - you and I must have the SAME skin, b/c mine does the EXACT same thing, esp. w/those cystic pimples - OUCH!
