jumpsuits?

I find myself drawn to the jumpsuit trend, but since it probably is a trend that won't stay around long, I don't want to invest alot of money.  I am thinking of making this one in the View that is in pink.  This is McCall pattern 6083.  I don't necessarily want it to be pink, though.   What color would you suggest or should I just say no to jumpsuits?

Okay, I love the little patterned one with the shorts. So cute!

I like rompers better than full jumpsuits. But if you're going to make a full-length one, I'd go for something more subdued, like black, olive or khaki.

I got a couple last year that are really flattering and I will continue to wear them this spring/summer.  I'd recommend going dark though - navy or black only.  The lighter colors are just not that flattering on the rear view

I really like rompers- preferably in dark or muted colors to prevent them from looking too juvenile. But then I'm over 30. Maybe if you're 25 & under, a pattern wouldn't look so childish. I got a navy-blue romper that I'm totally in love with and can't wait to wear!

I'm not really into jumpsuits except the more formal evening ones you see celebs wearing sometimes in interviews & stuff.

I don't see them working in real life, as an outfit, looking good and being flattering.  There's just a lot of other options that work better, IMO.

That said, I like the patterned one and I'd see it being a cute BBQ/beach outfit but wouldn't really put my time/energy/money into making a full length one.

I'm not personally a fan of them. Jumpsuits just scream "trendy" to me. But if you can make it work, then go for it!

That being said, I do think the floral one is cute.

ditto going dark. i have an olive jumpsuit from ny & co that i get a ton of compliments on. it's such an easy piece to throw on in the summer.  not sure how advanced your sewing skills are but one of the things i love about my jumper is that it's a button up, which makes going to the bathroom less of a pita.
