I bought a two plain tanks from Express like this to play down the extreme lace & girlieness of it orange & black
So it ties at the neck & the other day when I worn it, it really bothered me. So I am cutting then ties off & sewing them together - I figure I will pin it with a brooch.
My question is this - do I go antique with the brooch? Or really stark for contrast? Here are a few I am considering:
with the black, but I already have a plain black cameo, I'm just drawn to this one for some reason I am also loving butterflies & like these, but we have about a billizion cheap / market type jewelry outlets in Dallas & I figure I can find similar to these in any color, but I like #1 butterfly because it is antique looking?
Or do I suck it up & leave it tied (it is satiny so it slips) Or another alternative I'm not thinking of? Sorry for the huge pictures, I could only do really big or really little.
BTW, I wore it with jeans & got tons of compliments - I think it worked, just bothered me....

I really like the middle two brooches; they're more modern and I think will work best. The first one seems like overkill with that style of jacket, and the last two...I love butterflies, but think the trend is a little overdone currently. HTH

I like the broach idea. I almost think that with the black tank you need something with color to it and with the orange you would either need teal or black and white. If it were me I'd buy the first broach and the 3rd one (teal one)
