Lost is pretty much the only show I have to watch the night it airs (everything else is DVR.) I'm loving this season. Very little filler scenes and lost of plot movement.
My latest crazy therory is that Kate is not on either Jacob's or the MIB (who I call Not-Locke)'s list because she is the variable or swing vote. She could go either way. Not-Locke had this surprised look on his face when she walked out of the temple to join his group. Kind of like "Huh. Didn't see that coming."
My theory is that Sayid (who they are trying to portray as "going over to the dark side" like Claire did is only faking being on "the dark side" so that he can see what "Locke" is up to by pretending he is "one of them".
And that concludes my "quota of quotes" for the day. :)

See, and I think this is exactly what Sawyer is really up to. I think he's pulling a long con on Not-Locke.
I think as much as it pains me, Sayid is a goner. When he drown the temple master and the interpreter, I think that pretty much signaled his giving into the dark side.
I think Sawyer's pulling a long con on Flocke (fake Locke), too.
And yeah, Sayid is done, I think. Sad! I liked him, but yeah, he's done.
Another thing that makes me think Sawyer is a "good guy" is that so far, all the "good guys" have had way better flash-sideways lives than they did in the previous reality we saw. And Sawyer, while he still has problems and he's angry over his parents' deaths, he didn't turn into a con artist in this new alt-reality. He's a police officer instead and doesn't even go by the name Sawyer (although, he's still seeking revenge for the real Sawyer). Overall, though, his life seems more in control and not as um...illegal.
Same goes for what we saw of Jack. He seems to have a better life and a son. While not without problems (he's divorced), he doesn't seem to be the issue-riddled man we knew before.
And Hurley is "the luckiest guy on earth" now! Can't wait to see his flash-sideways.
Then there are the baddies- 1- Kate: still on the run 2- Claire: pregnant and alone 3- Sayid: still a killer
Locke is the exception since he seems to be a little more well adjusted in this alt. But then the real Locke is dead in the island reality, so I don't think we can compare his alt to his other reality at this point in the same way we'd compare the others.

I agree with you on the sideways flashes. Team Jacob seems to have a better life. With Kate, we don't really know her deal yet. When sideways Claire asked her if she did it (AKA murder) Kate looked at her funny and said no. Maybe in this reality she didn't kill her stepdad? The sideways Kate seems to be having more fun on the run, less tortured (and no little toy airplane in sight.)
I'm looking forward to Hurley's episode. And I'm betting that we get a Charlie one too since we saw his brother looking for him in Sawyer's police station last night too.

***Possible spoilery***
The producers showed a video at ComicCon of Kate blowing up the house (or a warehouse or something) and revealed that she meant to kill her stepdad, but ended up killing one of his employees instead. So, I'm assuming she still did kill someone and she's still on the run. She just killed a different someone.

Interesting....I wonder if her relationship with her mom is completely different then too? Since she didn't kill the husband (real father, whatever....) I guess we've got a "What Kate actually sort of did" episode coming up soon.
I'm anxious for the final 8 episodes, but not really for it to be over.

Me, too. It's sort of bittersweet. We're going to get all kinds of answers, but we'll never a get a new episode again.
Elle, YESSS- flash-sideways Sawyer is so hot!!!! I like Jack in the flash-sidways, too. He's not nearly as douchey as he's been in recent seasons.
