eyelashes, and now eyebrows! who wants some?
Permalink Closed

okay ladies.

I know some of you have bought from me in the past, but I'm going to be getting some soon and would love to know who else is interested? that way I can get them at the same time. I dont see my friend that often, so it would be great for me to pick up once.

oh, and I just found out that someone in here started to use it on her eyebrows, and saw great results!

so post, or send me a message in here or on FB!

I have a question about this - I've been using my stuff religiously and it hasn't been working! Is it that the bottle has gone bad, or maybe I'm immune? It does nothing now :(

WHAT?! really?
I've been on this stuff for years, on and off, and lay off when I notice they are completely full and long, and start to use when I notice that going away. I've had no problems with it not working.
maybe go to the Latissee (sp?) website and look there to see what they say?

are you still on your first bottle? if so, I know you've been on it for many months....maybe it got old?

Yes I was on the same bottle - even though I use it daily I find that 1 drop is enough for both eyes - I don't like to use more bc it goes into my eyes and makes them irritated sometimes. I'll switch on to the next one.

Hmm. I had thought about putting a little on my brow but never did. I think I will give it a go. The peak of my arch could use a little filling in. I think I'll wipe the excess on the brush in mybrows after I finish applying it to my lashes. Good tip!

I'm the one that now has great eyebrows to go along with my great eyelashes.  I used to say my eyebrows looked like caterpillars with alopecia - now they are noticeably darker and fuller.  I still have to fill them in but they are so.much.better. than before.
I put a few drops on a q-tip and do one lash & brow and then flip the q-tip over and repeat for the other lash & brow.  I've learned I'm going through it much quicker than the other girls but for me, it's worth it.

I kept thinking about you....and maybe youre not putting on enough? I've gone to the latisse website where it shows you how to apply, and they put on a lot. to the point where they wipe off the extra! I dont put on a lot, but enough where I have to wipe off a little bit....

Okay girls, I'm interested in trying this but I'd like to just start out with one bottle instead of a two-pack (they only come packaged in pairs).  If anyone is interested in splitting a package with me, make yourself known here or PM me or Tati please!

I've been using it for about a month or two (I'm using a Lumigan sample, I don't know if that's just a generic name or what) and I use one drop per eye. I think that's how much you're supposed to - that's what my dr told me and I think that's what the Latisse ads in mags say.

and FWIW one drop per eye is enough for me. I'm definitely noticing growth (and truthfully I only remember to do it about every other day)

I don't think this is the case bc at first I did see growth and I was using the same amount.  I use a small eyeliner brush so it is pretty accurate.  Also the idea of that stuff getting into my eye sorta creeps me out.

I already threw out my old bottle and am onto a new one.  I'll cry if this one doesn't work.  I''ve been getting used to all the compliments I receive!  Also for anyone who is curious, I have blue eyes, have been using this for 6 months + and still have blue eyes, no strange browning like they report.

FWIW I don't think you should be scared to get it in your eye. It's based off a glaucoma Rx (or something else that goes all in your eye) and Drs noticed that some patients who used the eye drops grew long lashes. My Dr also said that the browning can only happen for people who have brown eyes, I think.

That's so funny about the browning only happening in brown eyes - why would someone who is already brown-eyed care if they got brown spots in their eyes?! confuse

I don't know if I'm too late on this, but I might be interested in trying this, too.  How much are you charging?  Please email me at jessica.hampton@gmail.com (I always forget to check the pms, and this way it goes to my phone).  Thanks!

I believe its bc it basically makes only brown pigmentation grow.  So you'd have to have some brown in order for the brown to grow.  Some people have brown spots within whatever color they have.  Personally my eyes have blue and yellow so I don't know wth that'd do!

How does everyone apply this?  With your finger?

I put it on with a little brush (when I got my samples my Dr gave me two little Latisse brushes to use). My mom also has it and she says she doesn't use a brush at all, she just sort of drops the drop at the root of her center lashes and smears it around with her finger or the tip of the bottle.
