With community being our foundation, and in light of the buttons Kelly designed, I'm thinking about redesigning what stylethread is. 

Redesigning that will not cost me more money.

Here's what I'm thinking.  A page for blogs and a page for esty stores. 

On the home page, selected blog posts and an etsy item can be featured and hyperlinked to the respective blog and store.  I'm uncertain as to the frequency/logistics of featured content at the moment.

To be included on the blog and/or store page, a button for blogs, and a link for etsy that reads "chat with me on stylethread" (or something like that) must be present on the blog or etsy page.

Basically, it's cross-marketing.  Content by you and for you.  Hopefully it will be mutually beneficial in increasing traffic and leveraging content.

I just don't have it in me anymore to do stitches and editorial content.

Thoughts, please.

I think this is a great idea, actually.  It's a great way to expand the community without it being a ton of extra work/cost for you writing features and whatnot, and it would be great to have a way to access members' blogs and etsy stores in one place.

The fashion blog community is an awesome place, but it lacks the interaction with people we get here.  Creating some crossover between the two seems ideal, especially given the light traffic here.

Great idea! Though I'm not sure if the set up of etsy would allow me to but a botton in my shop, or I just don't know how. I think I could put a link though... I will totally put a button on my blog. If it were not for you ladies I'd never have been brave enough to open my etsy shop!

Nope, Etsy doesn't let you mess with code like that, but I'd definitely post on an ST button on my blogs! This is a great idea, D!
