LOS ANGELES (AP) - Melissa Joan Hart, who starred in the TV series Sabrina the Teenage Witch, is reportedly expecting her first child.


Hart, 29, is married to Mark Wilkerson, 28, lead singer and guitarist for the rock trio Course of Nature. Their baby is due in January, People magazine says in its July 11 edition. Calls by The Associated Press Wednesday to Hart's representatives were not immediately returned.


"I'm thrilled to death," Paula Hart, the actress' mother, told People. "Melissa is feeling great. So far, so good."


Hart and Wilkerson were married in July 2003.


Best known for her role as Sabrina on the WB sitcom, Hart also played the spunky namesake of Nickelodeon's Clarissa Explains it All.


Hart stars in the upcoming film Jack Satin.

I hate everything she is in, but I think I like her.

I have watched a few interviews w/ her and she seems like a very smart level headed person. I just wish she would act in real movies/shows for a change.

I will ALWAYS love Melissa Joan Hart because she was Clarissa. I sooo wanted to be Clarissa when I was younger. Don't laugh. She always seemed so cool and interesting. And I loved her clothes. Granted, I had very little taste then but she was one of my favorite television characters when I was growing up.


But I agree RyanJ. Any day now she can do something halfway decent and I'd be seriously okay with that.

i really like her so i'm glad.  i used to loove clarissa too. actually i still love it and i used to watch the "n" (some teen oriented channel) b/c they'd re-run old episodes of clarissa. though i do agree with ryan j. she does make pretty crappy choices, but i may just be the only person in america who liked that movie drive me crazy. it was good...well in that way that only truly bad movies can be.
