I found this website on a blog yesterday and I'm already trying to pick what I want! This company has all these standard designs, and you can buy them in off-the-rack sizes, but then for $15 more you can also give them your measurements (bust, waist, etc.) *and* make adjustments if you want (like if you want the hem longer or shorter, sleeves longer or shorter, different neckline, etc.) Sounds like a godsend to me - my body is difficult to fit off-the-rack and the prices are not too bad - way better than getting something custom-made at a tailor or something.

I can't seem to get images to post but these are the things I'm looking at:
I'll let you guys know - I *was* going to get myself a payday treat, but the two blouses I linked to up there are suddenly "temporarily out of stock" Ugh!

They actually contacted me a couple weeks ago because of my blog! They thought I'd like their stuff because it is very anthro-esque, and they were right. They're sending me a free dress ( I got to pick it) and asked me to review it on my blog, so I'll let you guys know how I like it. I'm super excited!
I've been stalking that site myself, it seems like lately they are getting more modern and stylish. I googled and found some very mixed reviews. Some people say their items fit perfectly and others say it was 1-2 sizes off even though they used the custom sizing. Returns and customer service didn't seem to help either. The prices aren't bad though, especially with a coupon it may be worth it. Let us know if you do buy and how it works out!
OK, I bought the Ikat top (http://www.eshakti.com/clothpdpage.asp?catalog=Clothes&cate=blouses&productid=CL0018527&pcat=) and it just came the other day. I'm going to return it.
First of all, it was a lot more...modest...than I had expected. The necklace just came up way higher than I expected it to. It it just sort of looked dowdy. But maybe that's the fault of the style I got, because I have seen a few bloggers in their dresses and they didn't look so dowdy.
It did fit me well in my bust, which is the whole reason I wanted to get custom clothing in the beginning, but it is way too tenty around my waist. But I think my biggest problem was the sleeves. They weren't cute puffy cap sleeves like in the picture (I did specify that I wanted the sleeves "as shown" and I double-checked my order to make sure I had marked that correctly). They were just these big baggy sleeves that went halfway down my upper arm. I think they put the wrong sleeve style on this or something because it looks nothing like the picture.
I can return it, but they won't refund the customization costs. I had a $15 discount code that I got when I signed up for their newsletter, and the customization cost is $15, so I'm hoping that I will just get all my money back. But I guess we'll see.
