I tried to search old post for this, but no luck. Iam looking for one to use in between washings, hoping to make my hair color last longer. Any Rec's?

I've started just using good old baby powder. Since my hair is dark I shake it in at night and sleep with it in. Then in the morning I brush and blow dry it out. Gives my hair extra body and smells realy good too. plus it's alot cheaper than the designer brands!

There is one in particular they sell at Sally Beauty Supply and it's $7-ish or so?  I've heard good things about it from a few different people, and have been meaning to try it myself!

"The All-Nighter" is the best in my opinion. It comes in 6 different colors so it looks natural on your scalp, and it is made up of silk protiens so it doesn't create build up. And it's only $18 but it's a powder and not a spray, so you don't end up wasting any.

I've always been afraid to do baby powder because my hair is dark...never thought to do it overnight!

I've used a bunch.

I bought this and loved it until the knob malfunctioned.  It gets clogged and there is NO way to unclog it.  I tried everything then read a bunch of reviews - apparently it happens to everyone.  Maybe they've redesigned it since.

Got this as a gift.  Its a nice spray, smells lemony.  Not very heavy or chalky so it doesn't need much blending and you might not get that gritty feeling afterwards.

Bought the travel size version of this.  Its basically the non-aerosol version of the above.  Smells lemony.  Its great bc the powder seems to give more value than the aerosol.  Also, it travels easily.  Only prob is that at the end of the day I think I can feel grittiness in my hair.

This is the cheapest of the bunch and maybe the best.  Only con is that the smell isn't so great but I think it might perform better than the others.

I use this - it's called Batiste. It comes in a couple scents. I like it, and have repurchased it several times.
