I posted this on another forum too, and I was curious to see what bad habits we all have over here, and yes, we all have them!
Post away, and of course, no bashing, even if you're completely against something that someone does (even with very legitimate reasons).
Soooo, here's me: Tanning: I go for one month at the beginning of summer every year. Second runner-up is over-doing it when drinking (I don't actually go out that much, but when I do, watch out, as in the occasional black-out, etc....)
Umm, I have more than one...my worst are smoking cigarettes (not that many...but still very bad), not being able to eat just one cookie, and not working out (I have my ups and downs with that).
I am a terrible eater -- basically, I eat whatever I want. I eat a lot of white carbs and refined sugars. I hate salads, and most dairy products, and I don't particularly like meat, either. I also work out sporadically. I think I'm just self-indulgent.

Probably my eating habits. I pig out Fri thru Sun, but on Mon - Thurs I eat probably around 1200 calories or less a day. I know that yo yo eating can't be good, but it has so far helped me maintain my weight.
I eat too much candy. Seriously. I need to chill on the candy. I don't eat enough fruits/veggies. I should stick to a workout plan. Sometimes I don"t shower for a few days, much to the dismay of my roomies, because I don't feel like being wet.
smoking a pack a day, drinking more then I should, and over exercising. I am high strung and I run 2+ miles 2 times a day. mayby my bad habits cancel them selves out?
lack of working out.. sometimes I really feel like crying and screaming "NO" when my hubby asks if I will go to the gym with him.
addiction to French Fries and Chicken Tenders. I cannot go to a chain restuarant like Fridays, Ruby Tuesdays etc without getting this meal. I eat it at least 2/3 times a week.
I always clean my plate. I feel like I will make the food feel bad if I don't eat it or throw it away. (I know I have serious issues!)
Thats about it.. I don't smoke or drink too much. (I think to myself that it is a waste of money)
My caffeine addition. I drink waaay too much coffee everyday. Of course, if I didn't it might be harmful to other people's health b/c I'm not a happy camper unless I have my daily pot of caffeine.
Diet Coke/Pepsi. I'm totally addicted. In the past month I've really cut back and have only had it a few times a week but if it weren't really bad for me I would drink it constantly.

omg lynnie me too! i actually had to stop eating candy all together cuz i can't eat just a little bit, i have to eat it til my tummy hurts!! so i guess that's not really mine anymore cuz i quit, but i do the shower thing too!! luckily i live alone & not bf at the moment so only my coworkers are subjected to my stinkiness (actually no, i shower at least every other day for work, but weekends - if i shower thursday i might not shower again til monday!!).
oh & tanning... i don't really do it that often, but that's only cuz i don't have time. if i did have time, i would do it more frequently because i just love the way my skin looks when it's dark. it's my inner mexican, she's sick of being called a "white girl"!! i know it's bad, but i really can't help it.
alcohol - i refrain from daily drinking and only drink on social occasions but if i'm not driving, look out. i'm the one passing out shots.
working out - i go at least a few times a week but if i have any little excuse (like i have a cold this week) i completely disregard it. bad blubirde
bored eating - i can control myself almost all the time but sometimes i'll be at home alone and completely bored out of my mind. so what is there to do? eat! it's one of the sole reasons i don't keep a lot of food in my house.
diet cokes - i drink 2 a day. i stop drinking them after lunch so i can sleep at night but i need more water dammit!
well i don't smoke, drink coffee, get drunk (i do drink wine often and a beer or two occasionally --i made up for this in highschool and college!!!), eat anything fried ---french fries, hamburgers, chicken, appetizers, etc. or eat a lot of bad food. We eat tons of fruits, fish and veges so you would think i would be a rail and in great health. I do have great blood pressure 105/70 and great cholesterol 157 (LDL 99 and HDL 57) but I feel i am overweight. I am trying hard to work on this, especially before we go to China b/c I don't want to have pictures taken of me when i am fat. I cannot imagine how big i would be if I ate all the bad stuff but I do love sugar and refined white foods---doughnuts, ice cream, cereal, muffins, danishes, pancakes, waffles, banana bread, etc. I am doing LA Weight loss and have given up all the sugar and white flower and CANDY!
I don't exercise enough, I love candy and like Crystal (just can't eat any b/c i can't stop), I don't like showers unless I can stay in there forever (30 minutes or so) and clean and steam, and I really hate washing my hair ---it is really thick so i only do it 2 times a week and I have discovered dry shampoo which i love.

I can easily down a six pack of Dr Pepper in one day. I can also easily down over a gallon of water, too. My dr. said to quit that tho. Something about drowning myself? Dunno. It's a "bad" habit according to her.
I try to only drink 3 beers/cocktails/glasses of wine when I go out but sometimes I just need to let loose and binge a bit.
I LOVE a good cigar.
I'm a sporadic exerciser, too... every single day one week, no days at all for two weeks.
I sometimes sleep in my make up. And by "sometimes" I mean "often."

how can it be bad for you to drink a lot of water? i drink at least a gallon a day--is that really bad? omg, even my "good" habits are actually bad.
my others are: major coffee intake, and not exercising regularly. i hate that last one, because i used to have a serious running addiction but had to quit cold-turkey when i hurt my back. now that my back is better, it's much harder to motivate to get to the gym--i just lost whatever the spark was that kept me going before.
i also sleep in my makeup. i would say most nights. i know it's terrible, but i don't really wear much makeup, so i rationalize it away. i have been doing better the last few months, however, and feel that i am on the right track to breaking the bad habit.
