Help Me - Spyware & Pop Ups

Some one please help me!  My boyfriend downloaded some sort of music files and ever since my computer has just been slammed w/spyware and pop ups.  I already run Norton Anti Virus, I have Ad-Ware Ad Destroyer and Spysweeper.  I keep running them all and removing all the threats it comes up with, but I am still being slammed w/pop ups.  I'm so pissed too because I finally had my PC cleaned up and now it's happening again.  Anyone have any suggestions how I can remove all traces of spyware and pop ups?

If you have your system recovery disk (came with the pc on purchase) you can restore your system from a date in time before your bf put that music file on your computer.  It will erase what you have done since then but it will get rid of whatever he put on there. 


If spyware and norton aren't finding anything then you could download a pop up blocker and see if that stops your problems (the google toolbar which is free from google has a built in popup blocker). 


BTW which program is your bf using to download stuff from? Kazaa is known for putting spyware on your computer so don't ever download it!

Thanks lsu!  I knew you'd respond.  Ok - my boyfriend isn't downloading from a site like Kaaza - we made that mistake in the past.  He's just going to band's websites and downloading guitar tabs and temp. song files.  He's not doing it anymore, but I don't understand why it's happening, it's not like it's illegal.  Ugh!  The thing is Norton and the Spware programs are picking up the spyware and cleaning it off, but then everday more pops up.  It's so irritating, I don't know how to get it gone completely.  He hasn't visited these websites since.  Help!
