So, as some of you remember, I got a purple leather coach bag there for $300. Well, two months later, the satin lining in the bag it ripped to pieces and I've only carried maybe 5 times. Tj Maxx has a return policy saying tags must be attatched and it must be in 30 days, so I thought for sure I'd have to argue for a while with them. I explained to the manager what happened and she said no. I persitited a little bit saying that the bag is defective and I paid $300, only carried it a few times and I'm very unhappy. Then she said okay and went ahead and gave me credit back on my card! I was SO happy. Now I have that $300 to go to another bag.
that's awesome that they gave you back your money but whoa, why did the lining rip? I had problems with my Coach bag too (see toasts and roasts), within 2 weeks there were black marks around the rings on the bag and it WASN'T from jeans. I sent it back and they said they would only give me a $500 credit, but I asked for a refund, she put me on hold, and then gave it to me. Which is nice, but makes me wonder about quality...
