So my grandmother passed away a week ago.  This past weekend, we were going through some of her jewelry (she was pretty stylish!) and I came accross two beaded necklaces.  My Grandfather said she'd literally had them forever.  He gave them to me! So now not only do I have two stylish necklaces, but I'll also be wearing something of my Grandmothers! Can't beat that!!

Sorry to hear about your grandmother.  It's wonderful to have something of hers, isn't it?  I have a couple of pieces that were my grandmothers too and anytime I wear them, I feel like she's with me.  It's really comforting.


Anyway, those necklaces are beautiful and oh-so-stylish!

I'm really sorry about your Grandmother.


The necklaces look great on you.  I have a whole shoebox full of jewelry from my Grandmother, I love wearing it.  It's great stuff and a nice way to honor her too.
