I caught it tonight and I actually thought it was so cute. The media made it seem like their wedding was like this backwoods ho-down thing, but it was actually really sweet. The planned location was leaked and Brit was upset because she didn't want her wedding ambushed by media and papparazzi (can't blame her for that) so they decided to do it secretly. They did it at the home of the wedding planner and all the guests thought that they were just there for an engagement party. The planner did a wonderful job and it was very beautiful.
hmmm, i'll have to watch this episode. i have to say, i've tivo'd all of them but been unable to watch them the whole way through because i just found them so off-putting!
I am watching it right now. How come her Dad looks somber as he walks her down the aisle and nobody looks happy during the ceremony? Her mom isn't even smiling or anything. And I am sorry, but what gives with the big long french kiss? Ewww.
There was more than one mullet - and not of the ironic hipster variety - in that crowd. Yech. Redneck wedding, indeed. You can dress it up in expensive stuff all you want.

as pathetic as I think this couple is, I do feel their love is genuine and I did get teary eyed at the end. they remind me of the way my 3 yr high school boyfriend (who was from the working class high school, sort of like how Federline is poor compared to Britney) and I were (I am so ashamed to admit this, but it was over a decade ago), we were just like that, paid no attention to my southern accent, said "baby" this and that, said "like" and "ya know" all the time, acted all naive and stupid...I was 16 then, so maybe Britney is just experiencing some late adolescence and hopefully she will mature some before that baby comes! And it's so annoying to watch all the chewing gum smacking on tv, why doesn't someone tell them??
