Who uses a pop-up blocker with MS Internet Explorer?  What kind do you use?  I need one very badly but for some reason I am afraid of them--the technologically illiterate part of me thinks they will do something bad to my computer.

I use one and it isn't anything to be afraid of.  I downloaded the google toolbar from Google and it has a popup blocker built in.  You can set it to allow certain websites to send you popups it you want and it tells you when it blocks a popup.

Get rid of Internet Explorer and use Firefox (http://mozilla.org).  Automatically blocks popups and even has an option to suppress ads.
