I picked up almost an entire set today for under $100. At Williams Sonoma, you can't touch one dish for that. At my Marshalls, they had green, white and red. GO check it out!
You have to be careful. Le Crueset makes a discount line (like GAP has an outlet line.) It's less expensive but not the same extraordinary quality as the more $$$ pots. Maybe your TJ Maxx got an overstock from a department store though. If so, nice score!!!!!
I didn't know they had a cheaper line. In any case, I see Le Crueset stuff all the time at Marshall's/TJ Maxx/Tuesday Morning. I've never bought any of their stuff though b/c I figure the stuff I have (baking dishes, an enameled cast iron pot) work just as well.
Good score, fairywings!

Really good score - the one by me has covered pots but they're marked "irregular." Last time I looked, some even had obvious cracks inside - and they STILL were marked $99.
I found out a few years ago when Macy's was having a "special offer" promo after Thanksgiving. Got all excited and went in at the crack of dawn. I was able to compare the promo pot to the real one (which was regular price of course.) It was thinner and lighter and you could see the enamel wasn't was well done on the promo. I went over to William Somoma and asked about it since I figured they might be more knowledgeable and didn't have an interest in getting me to buy that promo piece. The associate told me that Le Cruset makes a second line for discount outlets. I was sooooo disappointed. I would love to own some, but am saving for the more expensive line.
The associate did tell me that the second line is well made for the price. If I didn't have the promo one to compare directly to the more expensive piece, I would never have suspected anything. I'm betting you still got a wonderful set that will make some yummy dishes. And TJ Max does buy out other stores so maybe you got a great deal on the real thing!
