DC girls, is it worth the drive from Charlottesville to go to leesburg corner? I am sure I will check it out sometime, but I don't want to get my hopes up and then be disappointed. I'd love opinions!

eh. I wouldn't drive from C-ville JUST for the outlets, but you could make it part of a little tour of DC-area outlets (Arundel Mills, Leesburg, Potomac Mills), stopping to stay one night in DC. Leesburg Outlets are fine - I like to go there, but I can't say I have ever scored a mind-boggling deal. The Off 5th is just ok, the Barney's features just-for-outlets stuff, as do BCBG, Benetton, and others. The Kenneth Cole yileded some decent deals, as did aerosoles, but nothing I couldn't get at a good sale. Is there a Norstrom's Rack there? Those are often decent. If there was one, I didn't go in and I have been there several times, so I suspect not.
I like it better than Potomac Mills because it's less spread out and less crowded, and I like the sort of outdoor atmosphere (instead of a big indoor mall). It's pleasant.

I totally agree with DC! Not worth the trip just for Leesburg maybe head up in the morning do Leesburg then head up to Tysons Corner for the rest of the day. Honestly I can do the Outlets in a few hours when I am very focused. It may be worth an overnight trip there are so many areas to shop around in just the NOVA area. I live up in NY and I still look forward to going home every few months to spend the day at Tysons with mom (tear)
I would have to agree...only come up if you want to make a trip out of it and hit up Tyson's, Potomac Mills and the outlets. (you may need 2 days for all that though!).
I go there when I visit my aunt in sterling. I am usually eh about it because the parking sucks and there are always a million people there. But then again, I am spoiled and have Woodbury Commons near me at home. If you like outlets like BCBG, Banana and saks its cool, but you should definately make the trip to Tysons as well.
