Sell? I would want my dream store to give me the stuff for free!
I'd have to think for a while about which lines it would carry, but it would definitely carry pants that fit me. That's the most frustrating thing for me to shop for.
They would carry size XS, lots and lots of extra smalls so they wouldn't run out! I sure get tired of the stores that have massive amounts of larges, extra larges, and even extra extra larges (especially Gap). And non of that funky crud that gets leftover to the clearance racks. Everything would be classy, cute, and made of good material, and of course affordable. I would like a store like TJ Max or Ross without all that riffraff to sift through to find the gems.

My dream store would have to do this too.
But seriously, it would stock every single one of my favorite designers and be wholly reflective of my personal style (which can probably be described as the happy medium between Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie with a cutesy quirky twist).
Brands that would get a lot of space include. (dream store = no budget)
Development (everything...Phillip Lim is a genius!)
LaRok (everything is awesome in this line...so fun and sparkly!)
Grey Ant (quirky, always experimental and cute)
Anja Flint (see Grey Ant)
Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent (sparkly and girly and comfy and yummy)
Vanessa Bruno (great basics...very refined, polished and French)
A Common Thread (those short shurgs with the kimono sleeves are the cutest things ever!)
Single (I love the silkiness and the fun patterns)
Sass & Bide (Always fun and glittery and blissfulyl esoteric in all the right ways)
Vince (awesome basics that accomodate my short torso really well)
Rebecca Taylor (pretty pretty)
Matthew Williamson (I want to wear rainbows of color and happiness all the time...MW makes clothes that are like instant pick-me-ups)
Luella (I love her trademark apple print and would stock it religiously)
Mint (a bit of a surprise for me, but I love the apporach to feminine clothes)
Nanette Lepore (feminine and quirky, two of my fave qualities tied together)
Juicy Couture (yeah yeah, but I need comfy loungewear!)
Charlotte (those beach pants are awesome...I need an excuse to order myself some!)
Velvet (more awesome basics, especially simple cotton dresses)
True Religion (without my Joeys, my torso looks short)
Rock and Republic (Scorpions and Kravitz only)
Alvin Valley (because all pants in my store must fit my bum perfectly )
Moschino (I adore the whimsical and the feminine pulled together)
Louis Verdad (some of his stuff is so awesome and sexy but with clean lines...great foundational pieces)
I'd also have a customize your own t-shirt section so that people could come in and make t-shirts that say or depict whatever they'd want it to. The plain T-shirts would be American Apparel. Also at the customization station there would be all sorts of fabric and trim so that you could make your t-shirt wholly your own.
There would be a load of Eugenia Kim hats and shoes because I love how quirky and cute and totally femme they are. I'd probably also carry a ton of C-Label, Irregular Choice and generally support smaller shoe companies that are starting out. I'd have a smattering of Sigersons and the Belle by Sigerson line as well.
I'm not terribly huge on accessories, but I'd have a ton of Tarina Tarantino stuff, especially all the Hello Kitty stuff she did. Most of the jewelry would ke along the same lines as the Tarina Taratino stuff, cutesy but with a grown-up appeal and wearability.
I'd probably carry an edited amount of bags, since I'm more of a clothes person than a bag person. I'd carry my faves in the below $500 range (few Botkier, Kooba, Rapp and Posavek, T-Bags, some Moschino jeans)
This is like the best thing to imagine! I envision high ceilings, marble floors, lots of room...sitting areas to look through the latest magazines and take a break from shopping...free espresso and bottled water...
You could walk into a contraption that scans your body, and then you wouldn't need to physically try anything on. You would just browse through merchandise, then bring it back to your sitting area, scan the barcode, and automatically see what it would look like on you.
There will be tailors on hand right away, and could alter the stuff you buy immediately so you can wear it the same day. ( I hate waiting a week for my stuff to be done, it's like I already paid for it, can I have it now! I am an instant grat brat!)
As for merchandise, I love all the lines LilyKind suggested. And I want there to be designers that I have never heard of from Belgium, Australia, Japan, Brazil, London...in all their fabulousness!
my dream store (which will hopefully become a reality) actually wouldn't stock any recognizable brands. i really want to work with emerging designers, so the store would be stocked with stuff that most of the bigger stores/chains hadn't picked up on yet. literally full of designs by people who like just graduate from fit and the like.
as far as ambiance i want it to be fun, the kind of place that you look forward to going to. first and foremost, my sa's would great every single customer with a bright cheery hello and a smile. i want it to be a very welcoming environment. i picturing hardwood floors, happy lighting, large dressing rooms, and mirrors that are angled in the most flattering way possible. we would also have a live dj and a bar, b/c i think people should really enjoy the total shopping experience, even if they don't buy anything.
I would have good quality clothes, very versatile so you could make any style you want, not expensive and all the clothes would fit be perfectly without going to the tailor.
At the end of each corridor outside the dressing rooms, there would be an ADJUSTABLE 3-way mirror. One end would have a skylight for natural light, and the other end would have evening lighting. There'd be no fluorescent lights anywhere. There'd be a rack of shoes in various heights and sizes.

Ah! I LOVE most of the brands you mentioned too! Lilykind - you and I should open a boutique together and call it our dream closet! LoL
few brands i'd love to carry in addition to her list:
