I am in the process of doing a huge closet purge!

I have a huge bag to take to the thrift, a good size bag to take to consignment and some stuff that's just junk.

I have a few items that I'm not sure what to do with. I know I want to get rid of them, but they are high quality items (for example: I have 3 leather jackets, each worn only a handful of times) and I don't think I'd get enough to sell them at my regular consignment store.

I've never sold on ebay before (bought lots though) is it worth it to give it a try? Try to sell it privately on Craigslist or something?

What do you do with your unwanted items?

I could post pics if that helps

1- is a brown leather short trench-coat-style from Zara.  Buttons up the front and has a tie belt. Leather is distressed looking. Its a European size Large

2- is a black leather motorcycle jacket (the traditional punk kind with zippers, etc) bought it while dating a guy with a motorcycle who I no longer date. Size Small

3- leather blazer given to me as a gift. Its pink but its actually a neutral coral-y pink, not too bright. I've never worn it but I know the person who gave it to me spent quite a bit on it. Size XS

The biker jacket and the pink I could give up but the Zara one I'd have trouble with as it was pretty pricey and its in perfect condition.
Thoughts?

ebay and if nothing sells then give it to the thrift store! 1) you will get a write off for the value and 2) think of how happy those items will make someone else. they're of no value to you if they sit in your closet.

I agree with XtinaStyles then....I'm intrigued myself by the motorcycle jacket, but I doubt I'm a small, lol

Motorcycle jackets are "in" right now so I'd bet you could sell that one on ebay. You could do a search for items like yours and see how they are selling and for how much.

Definitely see what people are getting for similar coats and similar brands on eBay before you decide. Use the "search completed listings" option.
