!!!!! fabulous!!!! my friend actually accused me of wearing falsies the other day! we were talking and out of nowhere she said "wait a minute what is the deal with your lashes?!"
Actually when I was interviewing, I had to apply mascara very carefully so as to not look overdone. I seriously think its made a HUGE difference - I feel prettier as well. Thank youuuuuuu! :)
I'm SO happy for you! WooHoo! I used to get compliments like that to! at one point my husband was telling me to calm down and not over due it anymore with the length! lol I need to buy some for myself, I'm jealous now!
Sibeski-
got her some samples I buy from a friend that are drops for your eyes but now prove that grow your lashes long and grow more and also make them darker.
you've probably seen the commercials with Brooke Shields promoting Lumi-something, well that's pretty much it.
let me know how much they charge...if its too much I can always get some through my SIL, but just know she charges for the samples she gets through her office.

I read somewhere that Latisse costs $120/month's supply! I want to try it, but not at that price.

As a cheaper alternative, try Ardell Lash Growth Accelerator. You can get it at Rite Aid for around $4 or $5. I also understand that Ulta may carry it. I have been using it for around 6 weeks and have noticed a real difference. No crazy change in the length or thickness, but definately some extra length and more lashes in better condition. For the price, I really like it, and plan to keep using it.
I am tempted to try Latisse, but I keep hearing about the possibility that using it can potentially darken the color of your eye, especially if they are green. Mine are hazel/green and I'd like to keep them that way.
welll PM me if anyone else is interested.....I have to see when my SIL goes back to work (maternity leave), or maybe she has some at home with her.....
I've tried the Ardell and results are nothing compared to this. In terms of the "months supply" I've been on 1 bottle for over 2 months now - I only need 1 drop for both eyes and I applied every day for about 6 weeks (give or take) now I do about 1x a week. I started seeing lots of action around the 8/10 week mark. I'd say my lashes are about 4mm longer which doesnt seem like a lot but they look like falsies.
Also, there was a lot of furor around the beauty blogs about the 4% of users whose irises darkened. My eyes didn't change any color at all, I didn't get darkening of the skin either. My biggest complaint is that the first month it really really irritated my eyes and made them bloodshot. I was considering giving up but the irritation got better after that first month.
I took before pics but my lashes dont even show up in pics bc theyre blonde. I'm attaching before and after - the before pic was taken in May (wearing full makeup and Diorshow), and this after pic I took just now (makeup worn off bc I applied it 10 hours ago and with Loreal Voluminous). I used to spend $$ on Diorshow with a Lancome base to thicken the lashes but I'm able to use drugstore cheapie mascara now so that sorta makes up for the cost.

Holy crap--those are great results! They look great! Any idea if this stuff is safe for contact lens wearers? Also, do you put them in your eye or along the lash line?
NCShopper- yes its safe for contact wearers. I'm one myself. but I would apply to line of lashes at night only when I was getting ready for bed. and I saw results starting in about 2 weeks and no blacking, and no eye irratation, so no redness.
Okay...I spoke to my SIL and she has 6 bottles with her at the time until she goes back to work in Oct.
So whomever lets me know for sure that they want dibs.....until then, there are 6 available. but keep in mind she sales them in a better deal if you buy 2 at one time!
Just got mine and am very excited to start using them...Tati and Xtina...how are you applying the drops? Directly into the eye? On the lash line with an applicator? Any and all tips are appreciated!
Thanks again, Tati!!

Jahni, PLEASE do not apply them into the eye!!!! I use the lil brush that came with my Loreal cream liner but any brush works. It is small enough that it doesnt absorb the drops so only use 1 droplet for both eyes.
Sibeski- I mailed them out the same day....so you should be getting yours also. If you haven't already?
you can got to Latisse.com and they have a video on how to apply. but below is the info I copied from their site.........
Like every routine, applying LATISSE® (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) 0.03% is all about consistency and precision. Once you follow the basic guidelines, the results will come gradually over time. To see the full effect of your eyelash transformation, take a "before" picture before you start the treatment, and keep taking pictures every 4 weeks to chart your progress. To see the entire application process from start to finish, watch this How-to-Apply video.
Here's a quick review of the steps shown in the video above.
Before applying LATISSE® each night, ensure your face is clean, makeup and contact lenses are removed, and any other facial care products have already been applied. Remove an applicator from its tray. Then, holding the sterile applicator horizontally, place one drop of LATISSE® solution on the area of the applicator closest to the tip but not on the tip. Immediately draw the applicator carefully along the skin at the base of the upper eyelashes (where the eyelashes meet the skin) going from the inner part of your lash line to the outer part. Do not apply in your eye or to the lower lid because excess hair growth outside the treatment area may occur. Blot any excess solution beyond the eyelid with a tissue. Dispose of the applicator after one use. Repeat for opposite eyelid, using a new sterile applicator to help minimize any potential for contamination from one eyelid to another.DO NOT APPLY in your eye or to the lower lid because excess hair growth outside the treatment area may occur. ONLY use the sterile applicators supplied with LATISSE® to apply the product.
Don't allow the tip of the bottle or applicator to contact surrounding structures, fingers, or any other unintended surface in order to avoid contamination by common bacteria known to cause infections.
Contact lenses should be removed prior to application of LATISSE® and may be reinserted 15 minutes following its administration.
If discontinued, lashes will gradually return to their previous appearance.
