you guys, i've never been so in love with a store before. it's like someone took a blueprint of the store of my dreams and created it. it's a boutique, but big, amazing lay-out, w/ all the designers i love and regular fashion shows for the customers (i just missed the cynthia vincent one, where cynthia vincent herself showed up...cannot BELIEVE i missed that!...but ya-ya's coming up in a few weeks, won't miss that for sure!)
anyway so far there's just the one store, in pasadena (off colorado) but they're opening up stores in thousand oakes and laguna soon...can't wait!
esquiress, I go to Pasadena practically every weekend (I only live 15 min. away) and I've never seen this boutique before. Is it closer to Paseo or Old Town? Also, what are the cross streets? I would love to check it out and see their fashion shows.
jaymiek, it's in old town. you know how you can go right off colorado into little "alleys" and then as soon as you do there are all these stores and restaurants? it's in one of those. there's valet right in front for your car. the restaurants around there are il fornaio, johnny rockets, gordon bierch, cafe santorini (personal fave) and there's that little movie theatre too. the stores around there are other boutiques like elisa b. (also cute) but the biggest store that comes to mind is crate and barrel, which i believe has a entrance right on colorado as well.
so do this: walk into crate and barrel from the colorado entrance, then walk through the store and out through the other side. as soon as you exit, you should be in the little plaza. there'll be a johnny rockets on your right and couple of doors down there will be sophea parros.
hope my directions are clear! oh and i live like 3 minutes away from there so if you're ever in the area and wanna hang out let me know! pm me!
thanks esquiress! I know exactly which area you're talking about now. I think it's called One Colorado? But there's a Canyon Beachwear, a Papyrus and an Origins store right around there. I've been to Elisa B. and they have some cute stuff but it is pretty tiny in there. I don't know if I'll have time this weekend but I would love to hang out sometime!
I dropped by Old Town really quick for dinner on Saturday, and on the way back to the parking garage I made a quick detour and passed by Sophea Parros...omg, I didn't walk in but I could tell I'd love it in there. They had a Joystick dress in the window that was soo freakin cute! we should all check it out together sometime, maybe do the fashion shows or something.
