I saw it and I don't think it was Ridley Scott's best film. It took all the best elements from Gladiator and Troy, and had no originality. Orlando's acting was pretty flat. The storyline was routine, as were the battle scenes. I would give it a B-.

Totally agree with rocky. It was an ok movie...

Orlando Bloom is much better in Pirates of the Carabbean, in terms of acting, but good looking as usual .

I actually can't compare it with Gladiator since I fell asleep during that one( a combination of being too tired and too much to drink, long story...) but my bf thought it was just as good as Gladiator. Personally I liked it and thought it was pretty well done. Orlando's acting wasn't exactly Oscar-caliber but he was ok. Is it just me did he not have that many lines? I felt like I watched him fight more throughout the movie.

Ugh - I thought it was awful. I usually love movies like that but there was too much obligatory gore. So stupid. That's not necessary.

BUT Orlando Bloom looked so effin good!!! Seriously, when he was wearing his normal person garb and his hair was down in his face, damn he was sexy. He almost took my breath away. I love him so.
